Unit Content:
- Unit 1: We can count up to 20 objects
- Unit 2: We can compare numbers up to 20 and say which number is bigger
- Unit 3: We know how to write numbers up to 20 and beyond. We can read numbers on a number line.
- Unit 4: We can work out the number that is one more or one less than numbers up to 20
- Unit 5: We can add two one-digit numbers and a one-digit number to a two-digit number
- Unit 6a: We can take away one-digit numbers from each other and from simple two-digit numbers
- Unit 6b: We can recall and use numbers bonds to 20

- Unit 7: We can halve and double numbers. We can solve a problem or puzzle using adding/subtracting.
- Unit 8: We can talk about how we solve problems using adding/subtracting
- Unit 9: We can estimate the number in a group of up to 20 objects. We can check the number by counting.
- Unit 10: We can put numbers up to 20 or more in order. We can use the (=) sign.
- Unit 11: We know how to say and write numbers up to and beyond 20

- Unit 12: We know the number that is ten more or ten less than multiples of ten
- Unit 13: We can add a multiple of 10 (20,30,40 etc) to a one-digit number
- Unit 14: We can work out the difference between two two-digit numbers
- Unit 15: We can add 10, 20, 30, … to any number up to 50
- Unit 16: We can calculate simple multiplication sums with objects. We can recognise and write the multiplication symbol
- Unit 17: We can calculate simple division sums with objects. We can recognise and write the division symbol
